The newly renovated Beaver Borough Pool House is a multi-use event space that preserves its historic charm while providing a modern hub for community gatherings. The Pool House is an event and civic center, not a swimming facility. The name honors the building's history as the original bathhouse of Beaver's beloved community pool. Today, the space offers a beautiful indoor venue and an outdoor covered stage overlooking Shaw Park — perfect for events of all kinds.
The building is the renovated former bathhouse of the historic Beaver Pool. While the Pool House currently operates as a year-round event space, the Shaw Park Project is actively fundraising and planning for a brand-new water complex. Please visit the Shaw Park Project website for more information.
The versatile space is suitable for a wide range of functions, including — but not limited to — meetings, workshops, conferences, concerts, birthday parties, graduations, weddings, fundraisers, and family reunions. The indoor multipurpose room measures 85' x 37'. It can comfortably seat approximately 100 guests with provided tables and chairs, though the total building capacity is 145 guests.
Amenities & Features
The facility offers a large open indoor gathering space, heating and air conditioning, indoor bathrooms with infant changing tables, and ADA accessibility. Guests also have access to a spacious patio and the surrounding Shaw Park green space via sliding glass doors. Photos of the indoor space and outdoor stage are available on our Amenities page.
The venue is equipped with 13 round tables (6 ft diameter), 8 rectangular tables (2 ft x 6 ft), and 114 cushioned chairs. A stainless steel bar-height table on wheels (84" long) is also available, ideal for catering or serving setups.
Yes, there is a dedicated catering and serving kitchen equipped with two refrigerators/freezers, two microwaves, a standing food warmer, and a sink, along with a separate catering entrance. Please note: this is not a full cooking kitchen — it is designed for food warming, serving, and storage only. A stove and oven are not available on-site.
The venue is equipped with four mounted flat-screen TVs (accessible via HDMI), WiFi, a microphone, and Bluetooth speakers.
Yes, there are 33 regular parking spots and 2 handicap spots located to the left of the building. There are also 2–4 designated spots for catering near the kitchen exit.
Booking & Pricing
Reservations are currently being accepted for 2026 and 2027. To learn more or to reserve a date, fill out the form on our inquiry page. Our events coordinator will reach out to you within 48 hours.
Pricing depends on the type and duration of the event:

Meetings on Monday - Thursday for up to 3 hours: $150

Private Events on Monday - Thursday: $350

Public/Outdoor/Wedding Events on Friday - Sunday: Starting at $1,500

A $50 non−refundable rental deposit is required to secure your date. The deposit will be applied to the balance. Additionally, a $250 damage deposit is due 30 days prior to the event, which is returned or shredded after the event if no damages occur.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 30 days before the event to receive a 50% refund. No refunds are issued for cancellations made less than 30 days before the event.
Rules & Guidelines
The facility is available for rent between 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. All music and loud noises must end by 10:00 p.m.
Alcohol is strictly prohibited unless a special exception is granted by Beaver Borough management through a separate application.
No, the use of tobacco and all vape products is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
Yes. To protect the walls and fixtures, absolutely no tape, putty, tack, adhesives, staples, or nails may be used on the walls, light fixtures, or fans — including painter's tape. Glitter is also strictly prohibited.
Renters are expected to leave the venue as they found it. This includes wiping down all surfaces, emptying trash into the outside dumpsters, removing all personal decorations, and returning tables and chairs to their original storage spots.
Yes, the applicant signing the agreement must be 25 years of age or older and must be present for the entire duration of the event.
